It's a point of view to count the characters + a logic in the sentence words lol To join the contest, I'd tell 42 characters are playable in Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce for PS3 & XBox360 XD With Dong Zhuo fixing us like that, it's scary to give a wrong answer, hope we didn't mistaken too much! XD

There are 42 characters. I don't understand the 84 answer, the question is "Tell us how many playable characters in total are in Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce (PS3 / Xbox 360)", i don't think you should mind about the "and".
